Hello, I'm Karin.
I'm an executive coach for leaders navigating transitions that don't come with a playbook.
Before I became a coach, I was president of a multigenerational family real estate firm. I took the company from founder-led to a professionalized, team-based organization, then handed it to the successor I had spent years preparing. I am still on the board.
My coaching skills didn't start with the family business. Before it, I spent a decade in leadership development and instructional design across nonprofit arts and pharmaceuticals.
The credential that matters most: I've been in the seat.
I work with leaders navigating the moments that don't fit conventional frameworks: generational handoffs, transformations, stepping into a seat someone else built, stepping away from a company you shaped. My clients are family business successors and predecessors, founders, entrepreneurs, and next-generation executives whose careers don't follow a tidy line. Many of them think and work differently, or are writing their own playbook for success.
This work is long-term, relational, and small by design. The individual leader is my client. We partner on real work, in real time, to make choices that stick.
